Christopher Sugrue has been a grassroots supporter of programs where by the citizens of sub saharan Africa learn to help themsleves out of poverty through entrepreneurship. By helping people begin small business through micro credit loans, the plight of people is improved. Once a man or woman can operate a business, feed their family and grow themselves up, they will work to see that the generations behind them will do better than they have done. This “virtuous cycle” is key to the imporvement in the lives of the generations of Africans to come.
